Agrivoltaic Hemp • Regenerative Materials • Rural Futures
Verbena Hemp Company (VHC) is launching a 10–20 acre agrivoltaic hemp pilot in Colusa, California, integrating industrial hemp, solar energy, and regenerative water systems to supply carbon-negative building materials for future Verbena Projects communities and regional partners.
Verbena Hemp Company exists to build the material and energy backbone of regenerative communities. As a division of Verbena Projects LLC, we cultivate industrial hemp, integrate agrivoltaic solar arrays, and develop hempcrete and bio-based building products that sequester carbon while supporting local economies and workforce training.
Currently exploring land partnerships and pilot-site hosting opportunities — no land purchase required.
10–20 Acres
Hemp + Solar
Spring 2026
The Colusa pilot demonstrates how industrial hemp, clean energy, and water-wise agriculture coexist symbiotically. Elevated solar arrays shade crop rows, improve soil moisture, and power on-site processing and training facilities.
This pilot supports future Verbena Projects developments such as London Drove and Crockettsburg, and provides a regional supply chain for hempcrete and regenerative building materials.

Verbena Hemp Agrivoltaics Project Overview
Industrial hemp absorbs 2–3 tons of CO₂ per acre each season. Hempcrete made from hemp hurd sequesters carbon for the life of the building.
Agrivoltaic systems generate solar energy while maintaining agricultural production, maximizing land productivity and supporting farm revenue.
Verbena Hemp creates local jobs in hemp processing, natural building, and agrivoltaic operations—supporting rural economies and technical skill-building.
VHC's outputs feed directly into Verbena Projects' building supply chain, supporting hempcrete construction, solar installations, and natural materials for regenerative communities.
Focused on climate tech, regenerative agriculture, and carbon-negative materials.
Open to agrivoltaics, hemp rotations, or alternative land uses — without selling their property.
Seeking regional hempcrete and natural building materials.
Dedicated to rural development, innovation, and workforce training.
Interested in agrivoltaic research, soil science, and sustainable materials.
Supply-chain integration for London Drove, Crockettsburg, and others.
All phases begin with a small pilot and scale only after site fit, permitting, and partner alignment.
